Connect with DC's largest community of dog lovers! Learn about local dog friendly businesses and find new adventures to go on with your furry best friend through our network of pet owners and advocates.

COMMUNITY CONNECTION

We the Dogs DC maintains a community Instagram account. Every day, a new person is assigned to “hold the handle” and take control of the Instagram account so they can share photos and videos featuring their dog enjoying life in the Washington DC metropolitan
area.

 

Since our launch in August 2017, we have highlighted hundreds of local dog friendly activities, restaurants and businesses through these daily adventures.

 

Through these posts, we're able to both promote local businesses that encourage furry customers, but also through crowdsourcing, introduce dog owners to all the fantastic parks and day trip opportunities in neighborhoods they may have never visited previously. 

HOLD THE HANDLE

And share your dog's favorite places around town! Does he or she have a favorite yappy hour spot? Where do they like to romp all the romps? We'd love to see the DMV from your dog's perspective!
